Elf Archers vs Elven Archers

Somebody help me out. I've been going through my war cards, and I've got
a unit of "Elf Archers". I've also got one of "Elven Archers"--this one has
better melee and movement, but doesn't have the terrain bonus.
What's the difference between "elf" and "elven" here? Also I found the
unit costs and stuff for "Elf Archers" in the rulebook, but I can't find
them for "Elven Archers".
BTW: elves have 1) "Elf Cavalry"
and 2) "Elven Knights"

I haven't taken the time to examine the cards, but I guess thise two types
of cards comes from different modules.
One of the cards are from the Campaign setteing, this card I would applay
for elves from all the arease which don't have special elven archer cards.
I think the card which don't have the terrain bonus if from the "bercht"
module and should applay for those acher units rised in that region. Both
units have the same cost.

And? There ia a big difference between thise two unit types (even if they
may have the same values).
