GAH! I'VE BEEN INSPIRED! Now that I've reread that section on regency,
it does seem to make sense with the words you emphasised Tim, and I
believe I can see now the parts which have confused my players and I.
Heh - I think I've finally grasped the concept - I'm going to go pass it
over with my horde and see if we can't hash out an even better
description, that leaves no room for confusion! :)

Now who would of thought to read the rulebook again?!? Man, its been -
what - about 4 years now since I've read that section! :) Oops. :D

You do realize, Tim, that I shall have to worship you now? Are there
any particular spiritual observances you require, O Enlightened One? :)

Only the occasional sacrifice of a nubile elfin virgin (of the female variety
mind you) every other month or so. You see, I have learned from the
playtesters, and don't desire 100 cocker spaniels.

Just kidding.

Actually, if you guys thought that book was confusing, you should have read 1st
edition Star Wars or the 4th edition Rolemaster... (current for RM is 6th ed.
I believe).

I have sat in game sessions and read a page three times before realizing I was
looking at what I needed... The reason I remembered all this is I had just
this same argument with a really bull-headed player. Being an Ares born on the
Year of the Ox (I.E. Stubborn as a Buariar) doesn't help much with my own open
mindedness either. ;)
