The White Hand/ PLUS Haelyn`s A

Greetings,
The Vampire's Hold description in HotGB gives a name for the priest regent:
Karyana Darnov. I never have noticed any stats for her in HotGB, the Book
of Priestcraft, or Blood Enemies (although the other priest regent is
listed in the Vampire's entry in BE).

On a (somewhat) related note: does anyone know of any info. for the regent
of Haelyn's Aegis in Anuire, Antia Maricoere? I've never been able to find
any stats for her.

My response will not be of much help to you, I'm afraid. I regard
regents like these as TSR's little gifts to us: important NPCs that are
completely undetailed! All we know is a name, sometimes, other times we get
an alignment, bloodline, or class. The rest is ours!!! Aren't they such
great writers?
I've never noticed this Damov person, but my campaigns have never
featured that domain, due to apathy more than anything, I think.
I can tell you what I've done with Antia Maricoere. I the game I have
just begun, she is a major NPC. Charismatic, hawkish, inspiring, she's the
kind of leader people love to follow. I think of her as someone who started
out to be a paladin, but decided introspection was more important that
smiting.
She holds lots of influence. HA is the State Religion (BoP) of Mhoried
by default, and ties with the MOC in Ghoere, so Tael and the Mhor both
listen to her. She has a good working relationship with the Oaken Grove of
Aeric, Life and Protection of Avanalae, and MOC. She is also listened to by
the more traditional temples of Haelyn, the OIT, WIT, IHH, and NIT: she
gives them information about the happenings on the frontier, they agitate
towards helping her and the Mhor defend Anuire.
And get this, this is my favorite part. I made her 3rd level :) The PCs
see this powerful, influential, dangerous person, ruling a large wealthy
temple, and she's only two levels above them! I can have her increase in
level as they do, making her a more potent ally or foe (their choice), I
love these kinds of characters.
