When I asked about Paladins I got one reply that I did not like at all. It said to use
the Crusader from Spell&Magic instead of doing all that work. None more need be
discussed, that is the answer. I *strongly dislike* that. Not the idea but just the way
of giving one real simple answer to end it. If we all did that our threads would have
only two or three mails. I am going to start rambling on now but I hope you get what I am
trying to say. Oh, and I don't mean to offend anyone.

Heh... Well, sometimes a question can be answered with a simple answer. If
you are to ask one, you must expect discussions, suggestions, and directions.
There is no need to point it out, and I hope the person who did it was not
offended, because he must have cared enough to help ya' out, so care enough to
give 'em a break... :)

Sorry I upset you, but I was in a hurry to get my 2 cents in and go to work.
I don't always have a lot of time to wrtie, like A SAGA about whatever topic
comes up. I was trying to say the crusader class allows for a dirrerent type
of paladin character, without its inherent strictures. A holy warrior of the
church, in similarity to the Templars (sorta) of the christian church.
Knights dedicated to their faith and its protection through the tenants of
war.
For myself, the best paladins I have read of, are DAVID EDDINGS "Pandion"
Knights. Very cool I thought. Very Paladin-ish, yet they maintain a
realistic attitude of moral right over getting the job done. I like to give
Pal's a bit of lee-way, myself.
Do you have the Paladins Handbook. There is a lot of good stuff in there.
One of TSR's better efforts, along with the Druids HB.
Anyway :)
Sweet water & light laughter until next ... Better effort this time I
hope ???
Brett.
