(3) Ershegh transformation write up needs to be done. Probably after I get back from my break, I imagine. Their transformation can't really be the same as that of the awnshegh, IMO, because they are 'less powerful' and should be different. Probably using the same type of UA bloodlines guideline without the major benes and LA thrown in, or something like that.

Just a thought on some possibilities here:

1. Ershegh have fairly equal power potential with awnshegh, but because the transformations are voluntary there are far fewer ershegh of power in Cerilia.
[This might mean tweaking the power balance from the old one a bit, but personally I wouldn't mind seeing ershegh, being so rare, be able to duke it out one on one with an awnshegh and having it be a fairly even match. This is the option for a more 3rd edition style conversion].

2. Ershegh don't gain extra blood powers from their transformations, but also don't suffer the corrupting effects of Azrai's blood, such as severe mental derangements, horrific visages, and crippling mutations.

Food for thought.

That seems to be the standard. Interestingly (to me, at least) is that it

seems more difficult to come up with ersheghlien themes than

awnsheghlien. Is evil simply easier to describe, does it just come in more

forms, or is there something about the nature of transformation itself that

is evil? It`s probably some combination of those factors....

That`s very interesting... but I don`t know. Lots of disadantages of

transformation needn`t be "perverse" in the sense that they are unpleasant

a la those of awnshegh. They might be just the result of the physical

transformation. When I wrote up the Nightowl, for instance, his arms have

transformed into wings, meaning he can`t hold weapons (or pretty much

anything else, for that matter) so he had the "Reduced Hands" disadvantage.
