THanks for all the ideas, I'll keep them for future reference but I have
thought up my own adventure (which sparked the "Quick Question")

I am doing a modified version of Terible Trouble at Tragidore soon. In
it they have a chance to meet a good Nyphm who tells them to cover their
eyes but will help them.

Before that they meet a nymph who does the same thing onyl it really
isn't a nymph, It is a wizard with change self and a good voice mimacy
ability.
The wizard (an unblooded Elf) and his friends (a rager and archer) don't
like the PC's evil attitued and will let him know by making a called
shot to the head to blind him (from the pain only so its temporary) and
then will paint a message on his back telling him not to be evil. The
"Nymph" will distract him while the archer lines up and fires (no dex
bonuses [the PC has a 17 dex]). The ranger will provide melee cover
while the wizard uses a specail spell to "paint" the message.

THis is the beginning of a long series of encouters with the elven
group.

My question is why? In my opinion, the Terrible Trouble at Tragidore is one
of the worst adventures that TSR has published.
