[birthright] monsters on the battle

how would you quantify the use of monsters on the battlefield?

i can imagine a summoned fire elemental certainly giving a unit of
infantry a headache...

how about a realm version of 'summon elemental'? a unit of
them invading a nearby country could really ruin someone's day.
