Ladies and Gentlemen of the Empire:
As the Imperial Chamberlain, I bear the honor of announcing our fair city's
first Coordinator of Development. It is a credit to the Imperial City, and
those who would see her returned to the former glory of her empire days, that
three noble men stepped forward to answer the call of duty. Their willingness
to bear the heavy burdens of leadership marks them as true servants of the
Empire, worthy of the esteem of their peers.
The race was a tight one, hard-fought and hard-won. I myself abstained from
voting, to preserve the objectivity of my office. But in truth, that
abstinence saved me from having to choose among three excellent candidates.
'Twould have proven a difficult choice indeed.
Without further ado, I hereby declare Simon Graindorge the first Coordinator
of Development in the Imperial City of Anuire. May he and his team record for
all Cerilia the magnificence that is our fine city, and immortalize it for
generations of adventurers, kings, and -- dare I say it? -- emperors to
follow.
I present to you, Sir Simon, the key to the Imperial City. May Haelyn's grace
shine upon your efforts.
