If it is ok with your DM then it is doable. I personally would probably
not allow it. I like to keep my campains as human as possible. I limit
demi-humans, so I probably would not normally bring in humanoid PC's.
However if I was running an all humanoid campain...that would be a
little different.

hello, Adam Theo here,
i did that once. a total humanoid camp. one player was a huge goblin
shaman, a type of good-aligned giant kin (firbolg), and a orog! based
in the Giantdowns/Blood Skull area. it didn't last long (players didn't
have much time after a few months of playing). it was a really good
peice to work on. it really expanded upon the giantdowns area in my
world.
