My (unofficial) take on this is on my webpage under "New damain
actions and blood abilities".
By the way, I think that any sea sources would be taken by what ever
lives down there...

OK, I put them up some time over the weekend (got to be offline for a
couple of days to go to a wedding. It never rains but it pours).
Oh, and the tables also include all the new abilities from Blood
Enemies as well.
John.

"Once I was a lamb, playing in a green field. Then
the wolves came. Now I am an eagle and I fly in a
different universe."
"And now you kill the lambs," whispered Dardalion.
"No, priest. No one pays for lambs."

BI>3. Espionage: (page 54): perhaps rules relating to the establishment
BI>of a permanent spy network with establishment and maintenance costs
BI> and risks of running a permanent network. DMs secretly roll for network
BI>discovery, infiltration and collapse as well as its performance during a
BI>domain turn (2-3 rolls on tables?)

I feel the free espionage action that thief regents get is kind of an
implied permanent spy network. GM's can work the roleplaying aspects of
it however they want, but the free action is good enough for domain
rules on spy networks. The spy network could be defined by the GM and
thief player, and used in the spy action for more realism. Perhaps the
free action can only be used in certain provinces or spy on certain
holdings. To expand the network to new areas requires roleplaying and
making new contacts or planting new spies.

I second the idea of adjusted blood abilities tables, either by
derivation, by magnitude, or both.
I agree that the TR question needs to be answered, but I point out that
there can be two answers: 1) a regent with a guild can use the Trade Route
action to link two provinces (at least one of which has a guild); 2) a regent
with a province can use the Diplomacy action to link two provinces (no guilds
required). This is my reading of the relevant rules.
I think the war/siege rules need to be tightened up, especially in
relating (fortified) holdings to castles to actions to armies. Also,
consolidated mustering tables (by race) could help, and I suggest a success
roll required to find mercenaries, as well as to train elite troops (elite
infantry/guards, scouts, knights).
At sea, I recommend that ships can be Built, as well as Mustered (which
could also require a sucess roll). How many per province? 1 hull pt. per
level? The ship Maintenance table is fuzzy: is that for all ships, or each?
(All, I think.)
