I am going to use a halfing NPC as source of information. Shadow world of
course can be great source of info otherwise unavailable. I am also going
to use that same halfing as means to enter Shadow world and as scout
there. I will be only one adventure, but getting to Shadow world is
essential in this case.

Howdy!

Does anyone have any good ideas for adventures revolving around halfling =
characters? I have read the adventure in Dragon where a halfling is =
used as a "scout" for cross over points to the shadow world. I really =
don't want my PCs to start thinking of their furry footed companions as =
compasses for the shadow world though. Thoughts, ideas, or suggestions?

Also, the RH expansion makes it pretty clear that the Rjurik folk do not =
trust magicians or mages. Just how far does this mistrust go? Obviously =
a magic user would need to be careful to whom he reveals his magical =
abilities, but do they need to go so far as to use subterfuge in order =
to survive?

I got an idea. A small cult of Halfling assassins have begun usurping
bloodlines across Cerilia. Ordered to put an end to the cult, the heroes
must now track the Halflings back to their hideout (in some Awnshegh's
realm). Drag the entire adventure out several sessions; have a ball.
Because of the likelyhood openly walking into an awnshegh's territority is
what it is, the PCs are gonna have to find a way in without arousing
suspicion (I recommend sending a mostly non-elven party into Rhoube). This
means three methods of entrance: guns blazing, disguise, or the Shadow
World.......
