View Full Version : Out of Print?

One of my players went to the store the other day and tried to order the
Endier sourcebook and the rules for ships. However, he was told that
they were no longer in print. This question is mostly directed to Ed
Stark, but the rest of you can answer if you know. Is TSR planning on
putting those Birthright products that they stopped printing back in
print? I would like to buy all the Birthright products eventually
myself, but that may prove difficult if more are not printed. Our local
store has no birthright stuff on it's shelves (except a used copy of
"Blood Enemies" which we already have two copies of), so you understand
our problem.

Greetings,
Check out some of the on-line stores to find the products you're interested in.
I recently purchased some out of print products from Dragon's Trove, an online
store that I found through the Web RPG site (www.webrpg.com).
To find a listing of these stores, go to the WebRPG site. They have a large menu
on the left side of the opening page. The 9th menu choice from the bottom is "Companies".
Click on this, scroll down until you find the gaming stores, and start shopping. FYI, I
just looked and Dragon's Trove has 3 copies of Endier.
One favor that I would ask of you and all the other fans of Birthright is that you
try and buy new products rather than used whenever possible. From the prices I've seen, you
only save pennies on the dollar by buying a used product. TSR/WotC is, like all companies,
interested in sales and profits. They like to sell new products, but it has no effect on
them when we buy a used item. The more new BR products we buy, the more likely they'll let
Ed Stark and the rest of their great design team crank out more of the products we all want
to see.
Like you, I'm trying to complete by BR collection. The only item I still need is the
Binsada sourcebook. Does anybody know where I might be able to get a copy?

Regards
Craig

I don't know if we sold out on Endier or not (we did sell out on several of
the domain sourcebooks and, at least, The Book of Magecraft and Cities of
the Sun). There are several domain sourcebooks still in print, however, and
I believe we still have copies of Blood Enemies and all the other campaign
expansions (though they are getting pretty thin in inventory as well).

As far as reprinting goes, we probably won't reprint the domain sourcebooks
in their current form. We hope to present them again sometime in the
future, but we don't plan on doing it any time soon. Sorry about that.

I'll see if I can get a list of BR product no longer available.

Craig,

Great answer! A lot of online and mail-order stores have "out-of-print"
product that we haven't seen in inventory for months.

You added an extra "l".

A good online store is the Hit Pointe, they tend to have all of the out of
print material you need.

its at http://members.aol.com/hitpointe/index.html

Hope that helps
