I think that if there are constellations named after the gods then they were
named after the original gods first, and only after Deismaar did they take
their current names.

Looking at the PHB you can see that the 9th level thief only gets a dozen or
so theives for his guild, I would say that this would amount to less than
what is required for a guild(0) to function, so I would just count them as
ineffective against the economy of the province they are in
However, if the (probably extremely wealthy) 9th level thief were to
spend 1GB to expand his operation into a level 0 Guild then he would become
a regent and the problem would go away.

As the original post said, "no Earth Zodiacal signs are named after gods"
(paraphrase), and I mearly pointed out that it is really a big coincidence
that Aries happens to be a zodiacal sign and the name of a GOd without the
two being related....
