Why would anyone not want to stack all of their war cards in one square
on the battle map, I've looked and looked for a stacking restriction,
but I can't seem to find one. Did I miss it somewhere?

I have always conducted wars with mutible units in the one square. It
does mean that any spells cast on that square will effect all the units
there though.

I don't have the book with me to check on a rule against it, But it seems
that 'stacking' everyone would have a limit... it would get too crowded to
fight! Besides, tight groups are easier to eliminate with arrow volleys, or
especially--- Highly destructive area-effect spells...!

Well, that depends.. I personally have Archers and anyone with a
ranged attack get to attack everything thats stacked in one square.

If you stack everything, its possible that a rain of arrows could
kill everything. I also wouldnt allow more than 4 units in one
square.

Its also a bad idea strategically..

I know.. Its a bad strategy in game mechanics. If all your people
were engaged, then the enemy could move to surround you. Then, if your
troops had a fall back result they wouldnt beable to retreat, and would
be destroyed.
