According to a recent interview with Jonathan Tweet, the Goblin will be an official core rule race. Beside the gnome and Halfling he will be the third "small" race then.

Maybe this could be interesting for the Birthright 3. Edition rules (since we had some previous discussion about new races).

The racial modifiers will be IN+2 and ST-2, the favoured class will be the Wizard.

For that reason it is not for shure that the Elf keeps Wizards as a favoured class.

what do you mean goblin wizards!!!! how can a goblin have wizard as a favorite class????? for all i know goblins are very nature orientated. how can a race that is known for its barberic nature, and also known for always tooling for war, have time to delve into the nature of magic?

Lol!!! May I remember: It's the first of April!!!

Besides, I would prefer seeing the Goblin as a standard race (only with reversed modifiers)...

Agreed. Happy April Fool's :)

Have yourself a few ([_] ([_] ([_] but try not to :P .

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a goblin PC race, though. But I bet it would get a +dex and a -str or cha, as previous incarnations of the goblin race have been.
