I just installed the game, but I know its very buggy, and I cannot connect to the autoupdate thing. So I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a patch???

There are a number of sites with the 1.4 patch, but this one is the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

For those of us who know nothing about DOS (or any other program for that
matter) how exactly are we to get this patch installed? It doesn`t
automatically install, and I honestly don`t know how to access the DOS
program to install it myself. Says to go to:

c:sierrairthrt

then to run:

BRPATCH3.EXE

So how do I do that?

Tony

If you have Windows, hold your Start button and press R while holding it. A window will open with a field in which you can type. Type this:

C:sierrairthrtBRPATCH3.EXE

And press enter. That should do it.

Randomly, to get this to run on Windows XP.

Explore the CD drive.
Right-click on the Setup.exe.
Select Properties.
Tab over to Compatibility.
Run in Windows 95 mode.

Do not bother with the system test. (It says my DVD drive is too slow, my 24x CDR doesn't have a CD in it, and crashes when it checks the operating system). Just don't bother with it.

Once installed this way, its run fine so far.
