Unfortunately we have to change the ip for the
server hosting birthright.net and as such the server will be
unavailable until the nameservers has been updated around the
world. This in theory should be doen within 24 hours but my
experience says it`s more in the range of 48hours. Though it
will vary depending on where you are.

I've constantly and inconsistently been having trouble making the conncection to the Birthright.net since this action. At times I can connect normally, then a few minutes later I can't unless I go throught the WotC boards link, then a few minutes later that doesn't even work. Sometimes I can get through at work but not at home. And there seems to be a consistent problem with the server recognizing my cookies so that I get the unread "red B symbol" on threads that I'v already read.

Any word, is this still growing pains or am I being singled out? I didn't think I was that offensive and I do shower regularly.([_]

I have also been experiencing problems connecting to the site recently. The few times I am able to connect it seems that it is slower as well.

I've been having this trouble with cookies for several weeks now, so I don't think it's got to do with the move. It is a pain though, since you have to use the post date to try and figure out what's new (and sometimes that seems to change as well, though I might be dreaming.) Since the move though, I've had troubles getting here as well, but that will likely change with time as the DNS jazz updates and propagates I would guess. (Not that I know anything about that stuff though.)

Me too. Normally I cancled the "explorer" and tried Netscape then, but the new BR design don't function... So I must wait, until the problems are fixed.

The actual design is Arjan`s area of expertise, and maybe he
can answer here?
But the server now is up and running with the
same speed as ever. Though remember that the server is in
Oslo, Norway so for you USA guys it is very dependant on
the activity on the transatlantic cable.
