This page is an official policy on BRWiki.
This policy has wide acceptance among editors and is considered a standard that all users should follow.
- Feel free to propose any changes to this policy, but please make sure that changes you make follow the official process and reflect consensus on the discussion page before you put them into practice. Any changes need to be Adopted or Decreed to be enforced as policy.

What is a stub?
A stub is an article which still needs improvement and/or is not complete. See BRWiki:Stub for a more complete definition.
The policy
"Stubs shall be marked as stubs, using properly categorized stub tags from the list below."
How to mark a page as a stub
You can add the appropriate stub template to the top of the article. However, {{Stub/Policy}} and {{Stub/Needed}} are not to be used unless you know what you're doing.

How to expand a stub
It's simple: Add information to the article! You can remove the stub template if you think the article or section has been sufficiently filled out.

Current stubs in use at BRWiki: [edit]
- {{Stub/Adventure}} - Pages describing specific adventures.
- {{Stub/NPC}} - Pages describing any Non-Player Characters.
- {{Stub/Class}} - Pages describing any Player Characters Class.
- {{Stub/Item}} - Any page about an item. Even objects in the world that you can't pick up.
- {{Stub/Location}} - Any location in the World of Aebrynis - dungeons, instances, cities, zones, continents, you name it.
- {{Stub/Lore}} - Articles dealing with canon Birthright lore.
- {{Stub/RP}} - Pages with Role Playing info, fan fiction, etc
- {{Stub/Player}} - Pages describing player characters, role playing or otherwise.
- {{Stub/Gameplay}} - Pages describing Dungeon and Dragon Rules for Birthright (2nd and 3.5rd).
Others:
- {{Stub/Other}} - Anything that doesn't fit in the above categories.
- {{Stub/Policy}} - Please do not use unless you know why you are doing so and are aware of the repercussions of that action.
- {{Stub/Needed}} - As above.
