Biography:

Vaesin Isilviere is the Count of Fairfield. He is the head of a cadet branch of the Isilviere family. He is the son of Derian Isilviere and Gwyneth Jheron. Vaesin's older sister, Erin Isilviere was married to Morghan Roesone. He himself married Betrys Roesone.

Derian Isilviere was a comrade in arms of Daen Roesone who helped convince his father, Percy Isilviere, to fund Daen's return to Diemed. Daen rewarded the Isilvieres with the county of Fairfield. Vaesin was Derian's only son and succeeded as Count.

Vaesin's older sister, Erin Isilviere was married to Morghan Roesone. As brother-in-law to the Black Baron, Vaesin fostered his nephew, Teried Roesone, who succeeded his father and made Vaesin, Marshal of Roesone. For a time, Vaesin was considered one of the wiliest captains of the Southern Coast. His uncanny insight and intuition helped Roesone's forces to carry many close fights, including a major battle against Ghoere, the Battle of Danaroene Field, that probabaly saved Roesone from destruction. He is an open and honest ruler, but has left more and more of rulership to his son, Daerin Isilviere, his acknowledged heir. Vaesin is greatly loved by the people of Fairfield.

In addition to his eldest, and heir, Daerin, he has three other sons and two daughters. Drystan Isilviere, Gawain Isilviere, and Oisaen Isilviere, being his sons. Gwyneth Isilviere and Joan Isilviere are his daughters.

His daughter Joan Isilviere is recently married to Altaweir Enlien of Ruornil's Celestial Spell.
