Tuor's Hold is the home of Tournen's second most impressive fortress, after Haes. The fortress of Tuor's Hold is controlled by the Countess, Jaedime Tuor.

Tuor's Hold is a great agricultural province with vast production and the export of bounty to Avanil, Endier, and the Imperial City. The town of Bellamie is a major port for Prince's Pride.

Countess Jaedime sees herself as a diplomat and relies on brother and sister, Lord Boroen Cavaene and Lady Shallea Cavaene, in matters of justice and administration.

The Tuor family is a prestigious and ancient house, second only to the ducal houses of Anuire. As such, the Tuors are able to host regents of various domains in a neutral setting for diplomacy and social networking. Many a peace treaty and marriage agreement has been forged in the old castle in Tuor's Hold.
