The Silver Woods is a mixed forest in a gloomy climate. Unlike the forests of Mieres, which are rainforests, the Silver Woods is anything but. The Silver Woods include many conifers and broadleaf trees: the Douglas Fir, the English Oak, Beech, and Yew are well represented here.
The Silver Woods is located in the southeast corner of the province of Braeme in Medoere. The forest enclose the Abbey of the Silver Woods, which is a refuge for the priestesses of the Silver Prince. In recent years, the regent, Suris Enlien, has been using the abbey as a retreat. Several enchanted creatures reside in the Silver Woods. Including an unicorn and several faerie folk that had bridged the gap from the Shadow World.
The sisters at the Abbey of the Silver Woods report that at nights, Suris Enlien often goes to be with with the forest creatures. And on moonlit nights some report Suris Enlien walking with the Unicorn and a regal young man. There are some who believe that the regal young one is Ruornil, others scoff at the implication.
