Rodina is the capital of Melyy and Melyy's province Temir.

Silver found in Orlenaskyy Mountains has made the city wild. Once a fishing village with the huts and long, low structures typical of Vos peasant settlements, Rodina has branched out with hastily constructed, ill-conceived "neighborhoods." The city lurches forward and backward at will, ready to become a true city or a ghost town at any time.
