Proudglaive, the capital and the largest town of Roesone, takes its name from the mighty glaives of Karl Ritter's Blaue Hechte and the rest of the armies who fought and died for Daen Roesone in the wars that brought about the birthing of the Barony of Roesone.

Proudglaive lies on the farthest point of the Spider River that is navigable by ocean-going vessels, and many docks and wharves line the riverfront. The meat, produce, wool and leather of the local farmlands find their market here. With a budding middle class, Proudglaive also offers services of craftsmen and experts not found in other parts of the barony.

The city is administered by Lord Mayor Michael Agnelie, who officially reports to Lord Traese Noelon, Castellan of Blacktower Castle, but rumors report that he is a close friend and advisor of the baroness.
