Biography:

Ousira bint Falih enjoys people and is warmly interested in others. She likes to gather specific, detailed information about others, and turn this information into supportive judgments or the most effective punishments. Ousira wants to like and be liked by others, and she tends to be skilled at bringing out the best in others. However, because of the loss of her family in her childhood, she fears being disliked to a significant degree. Certainly Ousira is prone to insecurity, and she can focus all her attention on controlling others. She is overly sensitive, imagining bad intentions when there are none.

When she is not threatened, she is quite capable of understanding other points of view. This makes her effective at assessing the plans and motives of her rivals as well as her subordinates.

Ousira's strong desire to be liked, and for everything to be pleasant, creates a very artificial court life in the Djafran Merchant League. Ousira selects favorites and keeps these people around as much as possible. Its is quite enjoyable to be one of Ousira's favorites, because she can be generous, effective at bringing people to their peak performance, and because she has a gift for making people feel good about themselves. On the other hand, she deals very poorly with people whom she no longer considers favorites. Many end up poisoned. She then takes a considerable interest retrieving the gifts she had once given.

Ousira was born in Djafra and had some hard experience of the mean streets. Her parents were killed during a robbery of her parent's bakery.
