The Maesil River flows from the Stonecrown Mountains to the Arnienbae and the Straits of Aerele. Many large rivers flow into the the Maesil, including the Stonebyrn River and the Tuor River.

The greatest river in western Cerilia, with the possible exception of the Ruide River, the Maesil flows through the Heartlands of Anuire. Maeil means "old tree" on Old Andu.
