Biography:
The middle brother, Ludwig Danig spends most of his time defending the borders of the realm. Ludwig is an accomplished, if uncreative, military leader who typically leads the Blackgate Stormlords in Kantswach. Ludwig understands and respects his duty to the realm and is loyal to his older brother, though he takes little pleasure in his work. In truth, he is something of a bore, content to do his job to the best of his ability until a successor arrives. When not leading the defense against Urga-Zai, Ludwig is passionate about agriculture: he regularly attempts to breed new types of domesticated plants and animals and studies foreign species for importation and local cultivation. In southern Kantswach he lives in an estate with his wife Dara Danig (FBr; Ari2; Ba, major, 20, LG), the daughter of the Baron of Talhundt and a major socialite. Dara throws extravagant parties at which her husband makes only perfunctory appearances. Ironically, the fact that Ludwig is trained as a warrior has always made him the source of his older brother’s jealousy — Erik has the heart of a knight and can only see his younger brother’s life as idyllic.
