Now 58 years old, Leith is the Earl of Greensward. One of the most respected noblemen in Talinie, he is regarded as an exemplar of Haelyn's chivalric code. Leith is married to Sorcha Armara, the first cousin to Thane Thuriene Donalls. Related by marriage and sworn by his oath of homage, Leith is also driven by his duty to his lawful soveriegn. Such is his code. Leith expects obedience from his vassals and gives obedience to his own liege, Thuriene. He attends court when business is before the Thane. He accepts whatever duties or assignments the Thane names. His support and cooperation are beyond question. Leith is aware of the different factions in the realm as well as in the Northern Imperial Temple. But these are of no matter to Leith, for his soveriegn is the Thane, and his duty is owed to her alone.

Leith is also the father of Siobhan Riedhie, Thuriene's designated heir. Leith prepared her for a life of virtue as a chevalier, the knightly embodiment of chivalry. His daughter was a successful soldier, but turned insead to a different means of service toward Haelyn. She joined the Northern Imperial Temple and became a priestess. She is now the Presbyter of Newcayne.
