Biography: Gunnar is a childhood friend of Fulgar the Bold, and one of the few people Fulgar trusts. Indeed they are more like brothers, and everyone believes Gunnar to be completely reliable. While Fulgar is prone to direct confrontations with his enemies and open threats, Gunnar prefers more subtle means and likes to see his enemies die unarmed rather than in an ambush. In many ways Gunnar is Fulgar's enforcer, killing those who are disloyal or fail Fulgar in some measure. While Gunnar can hold his own in a fight, and certainly knows how to fight dirty, he prefers to trick his opponents or use a ruse to get them vulnerable where he can present them with a fait acompli. No one looks forward to a visit from Gunnar. His arrival either means you are in trouble, and may well be executed, or that some service is expected.
