The Brotherhood of Khet is a secret society of merchants and increasingly, craftsmen as well. It is run by a leader so secret, most of her confederates know nothing of her identity, Turiye min Saida, is unknown ever to the other Red Kings of Aftane. She and they rule Aftane, although the Brotherhood has had success recruiting members in Ariya as well.
