The Book of Days is an treasured icon to the Anuireans. Many simple aspects of their culture are expressed within it; from how they measure time to basic agricultural practises. However, some feel that it holds the secrets of the heavens and earth. Sceptics claim it is valuable merely because it also contains knowledge unavailable to the common man – no other book can equal it.
Regardless of the truth, it is normally kept under lock and key at the Imperial Conservatory in the City of Anuire, watched by the Imperial College of Astronomy. Many have died trying to possess this book.
