Khinasi ยป Binsad
The Binsad is the name of the prevailing summer wind of much of Khinasi, especially in the west.
Strong north-east winds blow from from Roelir until Sehnir. The people say the Binsad is the breath of the Sphinx. This wind carries from Anuire and is a hot, dry wind, its moisture having fallen over Anuire or being forced out over the Iron Peaks. When this wind comes from the blasted wastes of the Gorgon's Crown, it carried dust that produces spectacular sunsets. However these ill winds can bring what the locals call "The Gorgon's Curse", as the gusts can visit cattle with death and disease.
The realm of Binsada takes its name from this characteristic wind.
